TimBackup Archive
Terms of Use
Last updated: November 2, 2026
These terms describe the use of TimBackup Archive, a personal Windows application for uploading selected folders to Google Drive and verifying file sizes and checksums.
Personal archiving
The application is intended for personal archiving in your own Google Drive account. This website provides application information and policies; archiving takes place in the Windows application.
Your files and responsibilities
You are responsible for the files and folders you select, your right to store them, and compliance with applicable laws and Google Drive policies. You remain responsible for your Google account, its security and the available storage space.
Verify before deleting originals
Wait until the upload and verification of file sizes and checksums have completed successfully before deleting any originals.
Review any reported errors and make sure you can access your archived files. An interrupted upload or an incomplete verification must not be treated as a completed archive. Keep additional copies of important files as appropriate.
Google Drive availability and limits
Uploads and access to archived files depend on your internet connection and Google Drive availability, storage quota, API limits and account restrictions. Google may change its service, limits or policies. TimBackup Archive cannot guarantee uninterrupted uploads or Google Drive availability.
Use and disconnection
The application is provided as available, without a guarantee that every upload will succeed. You are responsible for checking completion and maintaining the copies you need. You may stop using the application and revoke Google access at any time. Archives already uploaded remain in your Google Drive until you delete them.
Privacy and contact
See the Privacy Policy for details about data access, storage and revoking access. For questions, contact timuricio@gmail.com.
